Tutorial Fix A2 & A2 Lite back button in XBMC

    Thankyou very much. I actually joined this forum to download the keymap.xml that was posted much earlier on in his thread. I'm familiar with computers but not android, so its been a learning experience, however I achieved exactly what I wanted and the remote now works as I 'expected' it too :)

    thanks for the documentation in this pinned post. I added the entries of posting NR.1 in my keboard.xml and the back-button is now working perfect in kodi and spmc. (y)

    will this fix work in the Minix U9H/A2 Lite combo…..planning to do it for both Kodi 17.3 and SPMC 16.6

    I am also trying to get the back button to go back just one screen.

    I know nothing about Android so bear with me please.

    When I open file browser and try to go to Android/data/hk.minix.xbmc/files/.xbmc/userdata/keymaps like the original poster said to do, I can only get as far as the files folder. There is no .xbmc/user data/keymaps folders. Is there a way to add these folders on an Android?

    Use ES File Explorer and make sure you have Show hidden files enabled.

    I was able to find the correct folder through es explorer and copy the xml from here but how do I paste it in es explorer???

    you could also use the kodi keymap editor...great tool for assigning alternative functions to your remote
