    Great!
Have you able to integrate script for internal install?

i would mean : "i'm waiting a new kodi release before building a new image"
and the "installtointernal" will be present in the nex build.

    Thanks.
Can u explain how can execute script to install Libreelec internal? I don't use Android in my Minix only libreelec, but after update to kodi 18 and try to use your previous scirpt i cannot used it because is not accesible.

upd : need to fix installtointernal : system doesn't boot

    i don't have a clue until now.
the old images (17.6) use my custom linux => 2 diff images for the x8hp and it can boot from internal.
the new image use "official" libreelec linux => 1 image for all x8hp but can't boot from internal.

    still searching ...

Hi dude. Have you found a solution for internal install?

@datrh For me, it seems your linux runs better than then "official" libreelec linux. Videos start slower and the system seems overall slower. Is there a reason why you decided to use the "official" over your own?

nop . installtointernal seems to be broken.
    no matter what i try => mod boot.scr, platform_init
i will mean : it will install LE on internal but it can't boot from internal.
there's a workaround which imply to leave the SD card plugged => it will load the kernel.img from the SD but use the internal storage for "live" LibreElec and datas.
it's not fully internal but close.

i will post a img/tar soon + info how to "almost boot from internal"

i'm not sure it has to be something related to linux.
kodi 18 is in alpha stage 2. So it's far from being bugs free and optimized.

why using now official "LibreElec" : it's easier to follow updates. When something is updated in LibreElec official git repository, i just have to "merge" the changes in my fork (my github).
    it's a "one-click" update process.

there are maybe a few things which are broken (installtointernal ?) but with the official linux it's not more needed to maintain a X8-HP gen1.

to compare kodi 18 and kodi 17 , we have to wait that kodi 18 reaches final stage

With this latest version the sound problems on my X8H+ are back, with a vengeance. I tried every combination of the aformentioned solutions, but none work.
On my X8 the sound is okay.

yep got the same with x8-h. if i fast forward or fast backward a video file, sound garbage is back.
need to stop and "resume" the video and the noise is gone.

again , kodi is still in alpha2.
hope that a rc will appear soon

(will try to build a U1 version too)
